This past weekend was filled with special miracles. Things that just made my weekend. I haven't really had a weekend like this in almost a year. It was a busy, busy weekend. I barely got reading or stitching in. I did get the longest run I've had at one time in. 6.2 miles. A 10k! I ran it not stopping. I just kept pushing, and pushing. After such a busy Sunday, I only allowed myself a short run. 2.12 miles. It was nothing compared to my Saturday run but a run is still a run no matter how short. As for how busy my weekend was. I had a long life changing phone call from a good friend. She had a lot of slap in your face stuff about who I am, and what I do, and how I act. All stuff that I NEEDED to hear. All will help me to be a better person. But I need to say that it wasn't her that kicked me down, it was God showing me who I was. Don't ever ask God to show you the REAL you cause you aren't going to like what he has to say. You either use it and change or you keep on going the way that you are and see where that leads you. I choose to change. Then Saturday was long run day, then house cleaning and friends over. We enjoyed them being here. I had a lot more in common that I thought with them. It was a nice low key evening. But SUNDAY oh SUNDAY......I went to church to worship the Lord for all that had happened with the phone call on Fri night. God, Almighty God was in the house yesterday. I received 4 messages from the Lord all in one day. One was just as powerful as the next one was.....There were messages for both my husband and I in the last services preaching. God is good. God is awesome. God is amazing....My special miracles are coming. I'm thanking God in advance for what he has in store for my family's future. Be blessed today. God loves you, I love you. Peace be with you.

Sparks from yesterday
First exciting moment from yesterday-I have been using 2 phone apps for my outdoor runs. Both have been varying so much I decided that I was going to breakdown and buy a Garmin Forerunner 10. I was really excited to use it on my run today. Yesterday's runs varied from 4.4 to 4.9. Well using the Garmin, I now know that it was 4.4 miles. Today's run was 5.2 miles. Do I like the Garmin compared to the phone apps. YES! 100%! I get distracted by texts, or the stupid phone app telling me my miles. All I have to do now is look down at my wrist. I also get to see my time.
Second excitement-I signed myself up for 2 5ks yesterday. One is a daytime run-The Color Run, the other is NeonVibe. I did the Neon last year with Matt and loved every min of it! Matt showed interest in running both with me, so I hunted down a babysitter. I found out this am that I have a sitter, and he can run with me. YAY!!
On to other things cause the run part is boring to some. My cross-stitching. I worked on it for a little while last night. I didn't get much done but I got some done.
Before I started:
After:
I didn't really do much yesterday except the fun hurry up and get all the housework done so you can sit on your butt the rest of the day. Somewhere along the way I got caught up in that stupid Facebook and lost some of the day. I HATE that. I'm trying to get off it more and enjoy the day more. The rest of today will hopefully get a lot of reading done. My personal goal this month is getting 20 books read. I'm behind on my reading challenge for the year. I need to kick it into gear. I'm trying to get 100 book read this year. Wish me luck.....
Have a wonderfully blessed day!!

Bright spots or sparks
Today, I'm going to be a lot better at getting all this out today. So before we get started on all that happened yesterday, I'm gonna explain me a little bit so you know me better. Some of you do, some don't.
My top favorite things to do:
1. Read (A LOT)
2. Run (again, A LOT)
3. Cross-stitch
4. Garden
5. Play video games (weird for a girl, but I love them)
So now that's out of the way. I said yesterday that I was going out for a 4 mile run. I try to get my running done in the am because I have a much better, productive day if I do. I usually run on my treadmill but I decided that I wanted to run my neighborhood instead of looking at 4 walls every run. I have been working up a mile at a time until I run the entire neighborhood like I used to. Once I get that I'm gonna start doing laps around the neighborhood. I have a goal of running a 5k, 10k, 15k, half, and a full marathon by the time I'm 40. I have 6 years left. I only have a 5k under my belt. There are some days where I want to run more than just the miles outside, so the I hit the treadmill later in the day. Yes, I'm a mileage junkie. I love to run(once its done :oP).
On to my next spark! I got some work done on my cross-stitch that I've been working on for 2 years now. I don't have pictures today. Tomorrow that will happen. I will also post what the finished project is suppose to look like too. I haven't worked on this in forever. I wish I would have, I have 1/2 a page left on stitching, then the boring back stitch. I dont know WHY I hate back stitching, it makes the whole thing pop. It also gets done faster. This is my old lady habit.
Other than those 2 things. I just had a normal average day. The kid took forever doing 6 pages of workbook because he didn't have a summer book to read. It took him ALL day to finish. He had to do the 6 pages, and 2 piano practices to be able to watch Wild Kratts and have ice cream at church. He missed the piano, and the special treatments. I don't know WHY it takes forever for him to do work like that but I'm not going to budge on it. I have before, and he walks all over me. That's not a bright spark. I worked my way thru it to church yesterday, and sung my heart out at a few of my favorite songs. I love the song choices this week for both services. I can't wait to get my worship on Sunday am.
Signing off. Have a blessed, wonderful day! Hope you have some bright sparks today!!

Let's get this thing started
Hiya! I'm not much of a writer so this will basically be a random focus on pretty much everything I do daily. Yeah, yeah I know. How boring! Yeah I can't promise you that it won't be boring. Moving on.....Ya'll ready? Yeah me neither..I'm gonna go run 4 miles to jump start my day. Have a good one!
